Works by Thomas Arne, Henry Purcell and Jacques Offenbach were presented. Other shows ranged from Apollo and Hyacinth, composed by Hans Werner Henze based on Greek mythology, to a performance of madrigals by the Vancouver Cantata Singers conducted by Hugh McLean.
