This 30 minute program was specifically designed to introduce children to the history of musical instruments with some theory and music appreciation included. The 1955-56 series ran on alternate weeks, while subsequent series ran weekly. The program was recognized by the Institute for Education in Radio and Television at Ohio State University. Host Eugene Kash, who was married to contralto, Maureen Forrester, also made regular contributions to CBC radio in the 1960s.
