Debuted March 20, 2007 at 6PM. In 2006, CBC Radio 2 was re-focused to feature nothing but music 24/7. As part of the change, Tonic debuted with Katie Malloch , who used to host Jazz Beat from Montreal on Sunday evenings. This national program, also produced out ofMontreal, was a blend of Jazz, Soul and R&B music considered the perfect “tonic” for the end of the day. Hosts: Katie Malloch, weeknights.
