2001
On February 9, a new developmental English FM community radio licence for Lewisporte was awarded to a not-for-profit group headed by Todd Foss. The new station proposed to offer 45 hours of locally produced programming each week and broadcast 93.7 MHz with an effective radiated power of 5 watts.
2002-03
CIFX-FM signed on the air.
2003
On August 28, Mix FM Inc. Mix FM Inc. was authorized to operate a low-power English Type B community FM station in Lewisporte. It would broadcast 126 hours of programming each week with a minimum of 121 hours devoted to station-produced programming. The new licence would replace the existing developmental community licence. The station would operate with 50 watts on 93.7 MHz.
2006
At this time, CIFX-FM (Mix 93.7 – Today’s Hit Music) was offering a CHR / Hot AC / AC format. Studios and offices were located at 37 George Street in Lewisporte.
2011
On August 31, the CRTC administratively renewed the licence for CIFX-FM to December 31, 2011.
2016
CIFX reportedly left the air and was deleted from the ISEDC database.
