On June 15, Dale Hinves, on behalf of a society to be incorporated received a licence for a new Type B English-and Native-language FM radio station at Siksika. The station proposed to broadcast 45 hours each week of local programming, consisting of news, talk, public affairs, education and music. The new station would operate on the frequency 103.1 MHz, with an effective radiated power of 50 watts.
