Every week, from 1965 to 1970, on the Le Sel de la semaine, Fernand Séguin welcomed a distinguished guest, a celebrity that he helped the TV audience get to know a little bit better.
Early on, the program tried out several different formats before settling on that of a full-scale wide-ranging interview. The finest exchanges on Le Sel de la semaine – with writers, actors or renowned scholars – were recorded live, in front of a live audience. Henry Miller, Raymond Devos, Joséphine Baker, Jean Rostand, Léo Ferré were only some of the many celebrities who were interviewed on this show.
