One of the many game shows to be seen on the new CTV Network in the early years following its launch in October of 1960 was called A Kin to Win. The series was created and produced by Americans Nick Nicholson and E. Roger Muir, who were associated with NBC in the US. The series was originally produced as an early prime time local show for CTV affiliate CFCF-TV, but later aired for six months in daytime on the full CTV network from January to July 1962.
The series was hosted by Montreal broadcasting personality Jimmy Tapp, and featured teams of families competing against one another to answer general knowledge questions.
