Jann was a half-hour Canadian television comedy series that premiered on CTV on March 20, 2019. It starred Canadian singer-songwriter Jann Arden as a fictionalized version of herself and was loosely based on events from her life. The cast also included Zoie Palmer, Patrick Gilmore, Deborah Grover, Alexa Rose Steele, and Jason Blicker
The series was renewed for a second season, which debuted on the network on September 21st 2020, with Jann continuing her role as a singer/songwriter of a “certain age”, “dealing with the harsh reality that her former music career was now on a slow, relentless slide into obscurity”.
