The half-hour series that started out in September 1970 as Nashville North (q.v.) in 1970 morphed via being Nashville Now to finally being named after the host, Ian Tyson, when the 1971-72 season started. The show played 9:30 – 10:00pm on Tuesdays under that title for two seasons: it then moved to Thursdays at 7:00pm in 1973-74, and to Mondays at 7:00pm in 1974-75, before being dropped from the CTV schedule at the end of that season. All these series were produced at CFTO-TV Toronto.
