On June 6th 2016, CTV reaffirmed its commitment to original daytime television with the announcement of a new, daily, morning program, the live, three-hour program Your Morning. The series would premiere at the end of the summer, and would be hosted by news veteran Anne-Marie Mediwake and entertainment journalist Ben Mulroney.
Joining hosts Mediwake and Mulroney on Your Morning would be co-anchors Melissa Grelo as Late Morning Anchor, Lindsey Deluce as News Anchor, and Kelsey McEwen as Weather Anchor.
our Morning was touted as “a new approach to morning television. The series will deliver an original perspective and unique insight into the stories of the day, while showcasing lifestyle topics of interests to Canadians from coast-to-coast.”
“CTV is investing in a new style of morning television,” said Randy Lennox, President, Entertainment Production and Broadcasting, Bell Media. “We believe we can serve viewers and advertisers alike with a wonderful group of captivating personalities to start the day.”
In addition to their roles on Your Morning, Mulroney would continue as anchor of ETalk, while Grelo would continue as co-host on The Social. Deluce and McEwen would continue their current roles with CP24 and CTV Morning Live Calgary respectively through the end of June 2016.
The series continued as a staple part of the CTV Network schedule through 2017 and into 2018, and on June 6th 2019 the Network confirmed that Your Morning would again be in the CTV schedule for the 2019-2020 season.
