1990
On September 28, Radio & Télévision Communautaire-Havre St-Pierre, was granted a licence for a French-language FM community radio station at Havre-Saint-Pierre on the frequency 95.1 MHz, with an effective radiated power of 50 watts. The new sation would produce 40 hours of local programming weekly and rebroadcast CITE-FM Montréal the rest of the time.
1991
CILE-FM 95.1 signed on the air.
CILE-FM was granted an increase in effective radiated power from 50 watts to 430 watts, and the relocation of the transmitter from a site east of Havre-Saint-Pierre to a site located 8.5 kilometres to the northwest of Havre-Saint-Pierre.
1992
On January 16, CILE was authorized to add a rebroadcast transmitter at Lac Allard. It would broadcast on frequency 97.7 MHz with an effective radiated power of 6.7 watts.
1995
CILE-FM was given approval on October 5 to add a transmitter at Rivière-au-Tonnerre, operating on 97.7 MHz with an effective radiated power of 16.9 watts.
2004
On July 23, Radio & Télévision Communautaire Havre-St-Pierre was given permission to increase the effective radiated power of CILE-FM from 430 to 1,496 watts. The antenna height would also be increased – from 46.5 to 61.3 metres.
2006
The CILE-FM studios and offices were noted as being at 992, rue du Bouleau, Havre-St-Pierre.
