1967
CHVD-AM began operations.
1968
On May 28, Radio Maria-Chapdelaine Inc. was authorized to issue 155 common shares and 590 preferred shares and to transfer 1 common and 10 preferred shares of capital stock.
1969
On July 29, CHVD was given approval for an AM station at Chibougamau, operating on 1240 kHz with 1,000 watts day, 250 watts at night (non-directional), with additional studios at Dolbeau.
1973
On Mar 22, Radio Maria-Chapdelaine Inc. was authorized to transfer shares from the estate of Jean-Marie Duchaine and from E. Ouellete to Carmen Duchaine.
On October 12, approval was granted for CHVD to increase daytime power from 1,000 to 10,000 watts.
1977
CHVD received approval to join the Radiomutuel network (CJMS Montreal).
1978
Placements Claude St-Arnault Inc. received approval to acquire CJMD Chibougamau, CFED Chapais (from CJMD Inc) and CHVD Dolbeau (from Radio Maria-Chapdelaine Inc.)
1984
Radio CHVD Inc. purchased CHVD from Radio Maria-Chapdelaine Inc.
CHVD was given approval to increase night power from 250 to 1,000 watts.
1986
Approval was given for CHVD to add a rebroadcaster at Saint-Félicien, operating on
92.1 MHz with an effective radiated power of 50 watts. The transmitter (CHVD-1-FM) signed on in January 1992.
1993
Rosaire Leclerc (50%) and Gestion Stalnia Inc. (André Tremblay) (50%) sold CHVD to Gestion Germaine Lévesque Inc. (50%) and Rosaire Leclerc and Gestion Stalnia Inc. (André Tremblay) (50%), on behalf of a company to be incorporated.
2001
On October 16, CHVD was given approval to convert to the FM band, operating on 100.3 MHz with an effective radiated power of 21,400 watts.
2008
CHVD-FM became known as “Planete 100.3”.
On October 7 the CRTC renewed CHVD-FM’s licence until August 31, 2015.
2018
On October 11, the CRTC approved the application by Cogeco inc. on behalf of its subsidiary Cogeco Media Inc. for authority to acquire CHVD-FM and several other stations from RNC Media Inc.
