On November 10, the CRTC approved the application by Arrow Radio for an English- and Aboriginal-language Type B Native FM radio station in Ohsweken. The station would operate on 93.5 MHz (channel 228A1) with an average ERP of 42 watts (max. ERP of 75 watts with an EHAAT of 80 metres). The licence would expire August 31, 2021.

Arrow indicated that it would broadcast 126 hours of programming each broadcast week. Of that amount, approximately 48 hours would be devoted to spoken word programming and approximately 78 hours would be devoted to musical content. The station would offer a minimum of 113 hours of station-produced programming each broadcast week, with a minimum of nine hours and 30 minutes in the Mohawk, Seneca, Cayuga, Tuscarora, Onondaga and Oneida languages. Programming would cover the various issues faced by the community and showcase the customs and traditions of the Six Nations people as well as of other Aboriginal communities. The station would broadcast on-air interviews, call-in shows and spotlights on Six Nation talent. Spoken word programming would also include local, national and international news, sports and entertainment programs, weather, traffic, and health and lifestyle segments. Music programming would feature a mix of Aboriginal English-language, Native ancestral-language, worldwide Indigenous-language, and mainstream English language music.

Jukasa Radio 93.5 FM (CJKS) officially launched October 27 after starting broadcasts from Six Nations on February 22.
