1999

On September 9, Boyd Woods was issued a licence for a new low-power FM radio station at Englehart, operating on a frequency of 103.1 MHz with effective radiated power of 17 watts. The station would focus on local businesses, schools, charities and community events, and offer a variety of music selections with an emphasis on an “all hits” format. 

CJBB-FM signed on the air. Studios and offices were at 50 Third Street. CJBB is the only commercial radio station located in Englehart.

2001

On March 20, CJBB was authorized to increase in effective radiated power from 17 watts to 1,600 watts.

2018

On July 3, the CRTC approved the application by Northern Radio Corp. to acquire CJBB-FM from 1353151 Ontario Inc. (Raymond Stanton)

2019

In March, CJBB rebranded from AC (B103) to Classic Rock/Variety Hits (The Train).
